The insurrection lie.

Democrats are so fearful these days and in some ways they have a right to be.

The big reason they should be afraid is simply due to the fact that one day they will be outed for the propaganda they have been spewing upon the nation.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know, more loony ranting, right?

I’ve seen enough indignant Democrats wrapping themselves in the flag and talking about defending Democracy over the last few months to finally tire of it and challenge their bullshit.

That deadly ‘riot’ that happened? One of the things we’re really not talking about is the actual deaths themselves or the detail of the deaths that occurred because if we did then we’d wind up in a different place totally in the discussion. While we have folks in Congress who want to waste millions more dollars in another dog and pony show to satisfy the TDS crowd, the facts show us just how much the level of rhetoric has been ratcheted up.

To whit - five people died on January 6, 2021 what did they die of and how did they die?

So, that’s three of the five deaths and of course this should all be laid at the feet of the former President? I mean, REALLY PEOPLE? (By the way, the above citation is from that rabid rightest outlet USA Today)

The big one you heard everyone up in arms over was the Officer who died. This was DIRECTLY ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE FORMER PRESIDENT!

Brian D. Sicknic, 42 Capitol Police Officer.

Capitol Police officer Brian D. Sicknick SUFFERED TWO STROKES AND DIED OF NATURAL CAUSES THE DAY AFTER HE CONFRONTED RIOTERS at the Jan. 6 insurrection, the District’s chief medical examiner has ruled.

The ruling, released Monday, will make it difficult for prosecutors to pursue homicide charges in the officer’s death. Two men are accused of assaulting Sicknick by spraying a powerful chemical irritant at him during the siege, but prosecutors have not tied that exposure to Sicknick’s death.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Francisco J. Diaz, the medical examiner, said the autopsy found no evidence the 42-year-old officer suffered an allergic reaction to chemical irritants, which Diaz said would have caused Sicknick’s throat to quickly seize. Diaz also said there was no evidence of internal or external injuries.

Now, that’s from the Washington Post another big fan of President Trump. They managed to get the ‘I’ word in but as even the idiots among you can see it’s another medical condition which has little to do with the protest itself. Although Democrats would like to paint it as ‘Trump supporters killed Capitol Police Officer’ that is simply not the case.

Finally, there is Ashli Babbitt who was killed by a Capitol Police officer:

Now, there are a few takeaways here... first off over the past year we’ve seen repeated demonstrations regarding the use of deadly force by Police officers. The officer’s life wasn’t truly in danger but the decision by him was made to shoot this woman.

Oddly enough, there were no  subsequent demonstrations, no riots, no destruction of property over this.

Oh, and better still... the officer firing? He’s Black. So, we have a Black officer killing a White woman, he must be a racist too because anytime a Police officer someone shoots someone and the color of their skin is different they do it because they are a racist.

I mean, that’s the current line, right?

In the moments afterward, there are at last five other officers by my count from video I’ve seen trying to save this woman’s life. They are outfitted in riot gear and the like but they are making every attempt to do what they can.

The guy in question is nowhere to be found.

Amid the chaos on January 6 as thousands of pro-Trump rioters clashed with police and stormed into the U.S. Capitol building, only a single shot was fired – striking and killing a 35-year-old Air Force veteran named Ashli Babbitt.

Video shows Babbitt, who had traveled to D.C. from California because of her fervent belief in the lie that the 2020 election had been stolen from former President Donald Trump, was attempting to climb through a broken window into the Speaker’s Lobby outside the House Chamber when a Capitol Police officer guarding the entrance fired. An investigation by the Department of Justice ruled there was insufficient evidence to bring any charges against the officer, who has never been named publicly.

To Babbitt’s family, though, she was murdered.

“In the eyes of her family? Of course she was,” said attorney Terry Roberts. “I mean, there was just no legal justification to take her life.”
Now, you can’t blame te former President for a trigger happy officer although there are lots of people out there who would like very much to do that. The point is that deadly force was not in any way justified but you’re not hearing that from our friends on CNN or MSNBC and that actually is something of a concern because laws as they are should be applied equally and if you want people to place value on the things you have to say you need to move yourself out of the equation.

The Justice Department determined there was not enough evidence to prove that the officer who shot Babbitt did so unreasonably or in a manner that willfully deprived her of her civil rights. Rather, the investigation concluded the officer could reasonably believe he was firing in self-defense or in defense of members of Congress.

Funny, looks like he did a pretty good job of willfully depriving her of her civil rights when he killed her in cold blood. She didn’t have a weapon but I have to imagine there are different sets of rules for Democrats. After all, these are the same people who called the former President a coward when he had the area around the White House cleared of rioters - when their safety is on the line it’s amazing how fast they change their talking points.

And by the way... they never have really given anyone detail on just how many people were at that rally contrasted against how many people actually entered the Capitol building. See, if they did that, it would cut the legs out from under the whole Insurrection lie.
